A woman was killed on the 5 Freeway when she exited the vehicle and ran across lanes of traffic after a crash last Monday (Jun 17), according to the California Highway Patrol in Anaheim.
For unknown reasons she left the vehicle involved in the collision and jumped over the divider. She was struck attempting to cross the northbound side.
Coroner personnel were summoned to the site of the accident at about 9:16 p.m., CHP logs showed. Additional details on the identity of the woman who was struck were not immediately available.
