Two men are dead in Huntington Beach after a motorcycle accident that happened on Thursday night.
The crash happened at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ellis Avenue around 8:27 p.m, with officers from the Huntington Beach Police Department being the first on the scene. Both men were unconscious when police arrived.
The 45 year old driver of a black Harley-Davidson and a 46 year old pedestrian were later both pronounced dead on the scene by medical first responders when they tried to render them aid.
Preliminary findings from the police say that the motorcycle was moving southbound on Beach Boulevard while the pedestrian was crossing the street away from the crosswalk. This resulted in the collision.
