County News reported that an Irvine police officer was rushed to a hospital after sustaining injuries in a T-bone crash on Friday night. The officer was driving a 2015 Honda Accord when a 2021 BMW 330i T-boned the officer shortly after midnight. This happened at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Campus Drive.
It is reported that the BMW was making a turn when it hit the driver’s side of the Honda with the police officer in it.
Both the male and female occupants of the BMW refused medical treatment at the scene. The cause of the crash remains to be seen, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
