As reported by Patch.com a black Ford F150 veered onto the sidewalk and hit nine people. Six of them were hospitalized and another three were injured. Thankfully, there were no deaths. Among the damage were several street vendors
The accident occurred around 647 S. Alvarado Street and an investigation is ongoing into how and why the driver of the truck ended up driving on the sidewalk. No arrests are known at this time.
