The intersection of Springdale and Mcfadden was the site of a fatal car crash on Sunday. 21-year old Miguel Guzman slammed his vehicle into the Huntington Beach intersection and as a result, Guzman and his passenger Lance Jones were trapped inside the car. Fire department officials rescued both victims and they were brought to UC Irvine Medical Center where Jones died of his injuries.
The Police later arrested Guzman on suspicion of DUI as he was intoxicated at the time of the collision. An investigation is underway.
