Tuesday evening around 5:56 a man was killed by a Hit and Run driver while walking near Irvine Valley College.
The incident happened near the intersection of Shadow Oaks and Barranca Parkway, Irvine Police Department officials said in a news release. Paramedics did their best, but were unable to revive the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police haven’t released the identity of the man struck because they still haven’t been able to notify the victims family.
