A grieving family calls for justice as they mourn Adrian Estrada, 20, a soldier killed by a suspected drunk driver. Family and friends held a fundraiser in Santa Ana in loving memory of Adrian.
Estrada was driving to surprise his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day when his car was overturned after being struck from behind in Redding. The woman driving the other vehicle allegedly was under the influence.
Estrada was loved by his community, with hundreds attending the fundraiser. He would “make friends out of nowhere” according to his girlfriend. “He would make everyone laugh.”
Estrada’s family is calling for justice. “We lost a true hero.” according to his brother Francisco. “We lost someone who was loved by dozens of people. Just for a decision that was made to drive under the influence.”
