Accident With State Park Vehicle Kills a Pedestrian in Newport Beach

A state park vehicle hit and kill a pedestrian last Tuesday night in Newport Beach. The crash also closed off both directions of the road for about seven hours, police said.


The Newport Beach police spokeswoman Heather Rangel said it was unknown if the pedestrian was crossing the street at the time of the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
